Our firm specializes in power engineering sphere which is one of our leading areas of expertise. Our specialists were involved, in particular, in an in-depth analysis of legal status of property of nuclear power plants, study of possibility of privatization of property of nuclear power plants and their subdivisions, and feasibility of investing into construction of nuclear power plants.

We participated in development of the draft Law of Ukraine On the Main Principles of Functioning of Wholesale Electric Power Market in Ukraine which was adopted after first reading. Our specialists have developed new regulations concerning restructuring of existing electric power market in Ukraine, giving more freedom to electric power market participants, creation of competitive environment in Ukrainian power engineering sector, and legal basis of privatization of power engineering objects.

One of the areas of our business is legal support of functioning of the oil and gas complex of Ukraine in all spheres: legislative, organizational, and financial. Thus, our rule-making capabilities were successfully realized in the course of preparation of the draft Law of Ukraine On Restructuring Tax Liabilities of Oil and Gas Production and Gas Transportation Enterprises of the State Committee of Oil, Gas, and Oil Refining Industry of Ukraine.

Professional knowledge of Yuris experts were also used in the course of preparation of the concept of restructuring of oil and gas complex of Ukraine, which resulted in the division of oil and gas production, transportation, and sale functions. Yuris became a coauthor of a number of draft standard agreements which regulate oil and gas purchase and sale, transportation, and processing operations which currently are actively used by enterprises of the oil and gas complex.

Yuris was one of the first law firms in Ukraine to begin preparation of mining license agreements at the request of enterprises with foreign capital and provide legal support to mining operations in Ukraine.
